Smallbore Scoring Procedures

Match officials will score all targets and tabulate results and standings for review
after each individual match is completed. Targets for Conventional matches are scored for total point
value and X count which is used to break any ties. The 10 ring of the 50 yard target is .89 inches and
the X ring is .39 inches. The 10 ring of the 100 yard target is 2 inches and the X ring is 1 inch. Only
rings 5 through 10 are scored. Shots outside of these scoring rings are scored as a miss. In Metric
only matches, inner tens or X’s are not scored. The 10 ring of the 50 meter target is 10.4 mm
(.409 inches) and the 10 ring of the 100 yard reduced target is 1.045 inches. All scoring rings 1
through 10 are scored.

If a shooter crossfires on his own target (for example, firing 6 shots on one bull and
4 on another), he is given the value of the shot minus one penalty point for each internal crossfire.
If a shooter crossfires on another competitor’s target, he is given the value of the shot minus
two penalty points for each external crossfire. Blank target backers are used to determine if a crossfire
has occurred.

NRA smallbore rules apply. Matches are registered and scores are submitted for classification.
